Raymond Furness, a respected Encino / Los Angeles CPA, founded Furness & Associates in 2001. Before starting his own accounting firm, Mr. Furness honed his skills working at some of the most prominent CPA firms and financial services firms in the Los Angeles area.

Mr. Furness began his career at Smith Barney as a financial analyst. Later, he joined Nigro, Karlin & Segal, one of the biggest CPA firms in the entertainment industry. While at Nigro, Karlin & Segal, Mr. Furness was the Los Angeles accountant for several Hollywood celebrities, and he also served as the auditor for major production companies, including Sony, Warner Brothers, and Paramount.

Mr. Furness' final stop before founding Furness & Associates was the Beverly Hills firm Cutrow, White & Boroda. Mr. Furness worked on complex individual and business tax accounting matters for the firm's white collar clients.

The Furness & Associates team is rounded out by two other financial professionals. Janet Moassesfar served as a very successful team manager in the financial services industry for nearly a decade before joining Furness & Associates, and is currently studying for her CPA exam. Long Ly has been with Furness & Associates since he graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara. A competent staff accountant, Mr. Ly is a short ways from obtaining his CPA.
